Submitted by The Society for... on Thu, 05/08/2010 - 16:16SAA Regional Society Coordinator Richard Savage
Savage studios was set up in 2000 by published artist and illustrator Richard Savage. The classes are largely unstructured to give each individual artist the freedom to explore art in there own way. "I believe people do the best art when they are working on projects they feel passionately about" says Richard.
He offers help and advice to beginners and improvers in a variety of medium including: oils, watercolour pencils, acrylics, inks, watercolour, pastels, graphite pencils.
The studio is a friendly environment and the group is very supportive and all ages and abilities are welcome. There is a small art shop on site for essentials and the full SAA catalogue is on hand for mail order materials at member's prices.
