Based in the picturesque village of Walberton near Arundel, West Sussex, Downland Art Society is an open and friendly Art Society, that has become, and continues to be one of the most popular Art Societies in the area of West Sussex.

Founded in 1944, Downland Art Society continues to move forward to this day, holding regular meetings and two exhibitions a year.

We currently hold two exhibitions each year in Arundel, West Sussex. Members Exhibiting include well known popular local artists as well as professional Artists displaying their unique and sought after original paintings which include local scenes along side contemporary art.

On the first Saturday of each month (except August) we hold meetings at which our members and visitors alike, can enjoy art and learn more art with our art demonstrations, talks, and other activities conducted by professional artists.
