Bath & District SAA Group
Submitted by The Society for... on Fri, 19/02/2010 - 16:02The Bath and District SAA Group has been in existence for about 16 years and meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoon each month throughout the year at 2pm. - 4.30 p.m. in the Percy Hall of the Central United Reformed Church, but we use the entrance in Grove Street. During the summer months we try to fit in an outside venue on the 3rd Tuesday (weather permitting).
We are a very friendly self help group with no tutor but we do have the occasional demonstration/workshop and we have an exhibition once a year. We cannot comfortably accommodate more than 25 members (there is a problem with tables). All members are members of the SAA but you are welcome to come and give us a trial session.
Our current sub is £40 per year, which can be paid quarterly, six monthly or annually. We currently have a few vacancies due to retirement of a couple of members on health grounds, but we do keep in touch with them and they can join us for special events if they wish.
I would love to hear from anyone interested in visiting us with a view to joining us.
