Art Societies was first setup back in 2008 for art clubs to find art demonstrators for their meetings, and to let people know about art clubs in their area.

Since then, Art Societies has grown a little.

The main aim was to make it easier for art clubs to find art demonstrators for their meetings, and also for people looking to find art clubs in their area.

Since the first launch, we have received very positive feedback from members and over time have made many changes.

The biggest change was at the end of 2009, when we decided not only to completely redesign the site, but also to make Art Societies.co.uk - free. You can now create your own content, for free. The only slight drawback is that we now have advertising to help cover our running costs, (hope that's ok with you)!

In the next few months (as of Jan 2010), we will be adding further features and topics.

We hope you find the site useful, and enjoy using it to further not only your own art but also art in general.
